Advances in cellulose processing and applications – research goes to industry, Joint Working Groups & Management Committee meetings, 10–11 March 2015, Iasi, Romania

Host for this conference was Petru Poni Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry. The objectives of this conference wereas to present and discuss:

  • the state of art and new findings of cellulose processing and applications in the areas of textile fibre production, nanocellulose science and uses and cellulose films and foams
  • the challenges faced in these areas for process scaling-up from laboratory to full industrial production in order to develop the sustainable emerging technologies.The conference brought together experts and young researchers from worldwide academia and indstry.
